Come join us for this Twilight Talk and park field trip, presented by: Grace Kunkel, Stafford County VCE Agent and Mike Granruth, Master Gardener and Beekeeper.

With pollinator populations in decline, communities are turning to gardens and green spaces to make a difference. This presentation will explore simple yet impactful ways to support pollinators through thoughtful plant choices and gardening practices. Attendees will learn:

  • What types of plants best support native bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds

  • How to create a pollinator-friendly garden year-round

  • Tips on avoiding pesticides and other threats to pollinators

  • The importance of native plants and biodiversity in urban and rural landscapes

The talk will be held rain or shine in the pavillion at Rady Park.
